These signs have been effective. Most of the people with little yappers walk them across the street. We now have a family across the pond with a houseful of cats which they let roam; a no no in our little community. I don't mind them roaming, but I do object to a cat sleeping on the stop of my car; I object to a cat being within miles.
This week I had an enclosure installed around the new heat pump. There is little reason for it except I like the looks of it and I found a handy man who works for reasonable wages. He is he second handy man who has unable to fix a leak in our porch roof. Most of these local shysters charge $50 for the call and $50 an hour for their time. They had a new wrinkle recently; a fuel service charge.
Wheelbarrow which Jay's grandfather made for him when he was four or five years old. I know one is supposed to leave old items in their original condition, but we are in the process of repainting; the iron work is not complete
This is a mature River Birch. I know the people from Maine will say it is just and old Gray Birch which has no character compared to the Maine White Birch, but folks this is all that will survive in this climate and perhaps with age it will become swingable. You must understand that it is fall and some of the leaves are falling.
